Due to many "KNOWN" issues with FORD's drivetrain and suspensions issues, this part is sold with no returns. KDL does not guarantee this to fix your truck's vibrations. We only warrant fitment of the flanges and quality of this product.

The 5th-gen Ford Ranger is known for driveline vibration issues, and the factory two-piece steel shaft is usually the culprit. Ford’s warranty “fix” replaces the pinion flange and installs a CV (Rezeppa) joint—an approach that often leads to torn boots and premature wear, especially for anyone familiar with Jeep CV failures.

This upgrade solves the problem the right way.

We build this driveshaft using the same proven process as our Toyota one-piece aluminum conversions: a 4" x .125" wall 6061-T6 aluminum tube paired with CNC-machined 6061 billet flanges made in-house. Most OEM aluminum shafts use thinner-wall material. We don’t. The result is a stronger, stiffer shaft with superior balance and long-term durability.

By replacing the heavy two-piece steel design, you also reduce rotational mass. That means smoother acceleration, quicker response, and less strain on the drivetrain. No carrier bearing, no CV joints—just a simple, reliable one-piece solution.
