The Ranger Tremor comes from the factory with a CV joint at the pinion, which works fine for stock driving—but it also adds a wear component that can become a problem over time. CV joints rely on boots and grease to survive, and once that system starts failing, it usually doesn’t get better on its own.
This KDL one-piece conversion replaces that CV-style setup with a 1350-series U-joint configuration, giving you a stronger, more serviceable, more reliable driveline—especially for trucks that see real miles, real load, and real trail time.
